Falcons Giants Preview
The NFC Wild Card will feature the Atlanta Falcons taking on the New York Giants this Sunday as they play at MetLife Stadium.
Starting with the visiting team Atlanta Falcons. They have been the hardest team to bet on this season ans so unpredictable. I can honestly say I have lost the most money on betting on Atlanta. But without starting on a rant lets get to the stats. To start Atlanta has not been a good road team, with the 7th best ranked offence when playing at home their production drops when they step out of Atlanta. The Falcons on average 20 points per game on the road and they let up close to 23 points. One thing that has hampered the Falcons is injuries, although their offence has been consistently on the field together expect for an exception with Julio Jones but the main injuries have fallen on the defensive side. The Falcons still have a long list of injures but most are probable, notable sitters could be Brent Grimes and Stephen Nicholas.
To the Home team Giants it has been a different story they heated up come the second half of the season and they only seemed to stumble when they lost Ahmad Bradshaw to a foot injury for a few games. Playing without Bradshaw did cause the Giants a loss or two but in the long run I think it helped out the team. They were able to get their receivers more into the game and the defence stepped up their game with the return of Justin Tuck. Now with Bradshaw back and the Giants defence more healthy this is a dangerous team.
Falcons Giants Betting Pick
I really like the Giants in this game, they have a better defence and with the Falcons past road games I could not lay money on them at this point. The home fans will make it loud for the Falcons to get off play calls and that might be all the advantage the Giants need to cover this game by 3 or more points.
