The opening day NFL rosters are far from set and of course the lockout needs to end, but that isn’t stopping BetOnline.com from opening the odds for the inaugural week of the 2011 season.

The season will get off to a blistering start in a match-up between the two last Super Bowl champions. The defending champion Green Bay Packers are 3.5-point favorites versus the 2010 champion New Orleans Saints.

The first Sunday is littered with great games, including the AFC North bloodbath as the Pittsburgh Steelers (+3) visit the Baltimore Ravens. BetOnline is expecting the Dallas Cowboys to bounce back from a disappointing 2010 campaign as they are just field goal dogs in New York versus the Jets.

The Monday night doubleheader features the New England Patriots (-3.5) at the Miami Dolphins. And then the Denver Broncos (-1) host the Oakland Raiders.
