Saints 49ers Preview
The New Orleans Saints will travel to play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC divisional game at Candlestick Park. Both of these teams have played great all year, unfortunately only one team can advance!
Last week the Saints were able to beat up on the Detroit Lions winning the game 45-28. The Saints were able to cover the 10.5 point spread they had on them and the total flew over the total. The Saints looked great last week and Drew Brees was just unstoppable. Brees threw for 466 yards and 3 touchdowns. Its been a great time for the Saints offence to be hot and I think they will come into San Fran ready to sling the ball.
San Fransisco 49ers finished the season 13-3 which gave them the playoff Bye, Now with a week off the 49ers will be back at it as they get set to play the Saints at home. San Fransisco has been a surprising team, as I for one did not see them having this great of success on the season. But with that said they do play in the weakest division and they had a fairly easy schedule compared to some of the other teams in the playoffs. Defence has been the key to 49ers success, San Fran has the best run defense this season and only allowed an average of 15 points per game.
Saints 49ers Betting Pick
This will be an interesting game as the offensive powerhouse of the Saints goes up against the defensive giant of the 49ers. They saying always says that defense wins championships but you still have to put up some points to win the game… I think that the Saints will come out on top. The 49ers defense is great but they are just average when it comes to stopping the passing game. Experience favors the Saints as the 49ers come in as a young team that has not been to the playoffs very much.
Bottom Line: Drew Bress is my MVP to the season and he’s going to prove it this week as they get by San Fran and cover the 4 point spread.
